July 26th

Hello everyone, I have been doing fine the last couple of days. My white blood cell count officially hit zero yesterday. I now have no immune system. The last few days have been a little hard because I missed several family parties and the first day of school. The test results came back and neither Brad nor Nate are a match. The plan is to complete five rounds of chemo. and hope for the best. Sorry we haven't written back much the last few days. Things have been busy and a little difficult. Thanks again to everyone .
Love, Trent.

:(. I'm sorry the donor matches didn't work out. Does that mean you are not going to try for a non-related donor or a more distant relation like a cousin at this point?

Hey Trent, sorry we missed you yesterday after our hospital visit but the nurse said you and your mom were sleeping. We didn't want to bother you. We had to come back to Primary's today because I forgot Harrison's kindergarten papers. We didn't try to visit again because Harrison's counts are low from his chemo (too high of a dose). Plus he was not feeling great because of the chemo from yesterday. I wanted to tell you about that because sometimes it helps to know that there are other kids out there that have trouble too. I know there are nurses and others that can help you, but kids can help get your mind off trouble. I'm glad you got to play with Jazzy. Last time we saw him he was stinky. I hope he had a bath. He He He. Britain and Seth started school. They say it is good but kind of boring. They don't have homework or anything yet. They just learn about rules. Britain already tried to play sick and miss school and theres only been 3 days. I hope you will enjoy your break. Get some extra TV time in for us!

You are in our prayers!

Heidi,

The only way I will get a non-related donor will be after if the 5 rounds of chemo we go back for check ups and the leukemia is still there then they will give me a non-related donor. I'm sorry to hear about the blood clot in your arm hope you are ok!

Bashore Family,

Sorry about that on Wednesday we stay up pretty late and sleep in even latter! They changed the time I take my pills because I never woke up for them in the morning now I take pills at 10:00. Thank you for the present I love it I teased the nurses with the fake poo. It was so awesome. I hope Harrison is feeling better how much longer does he have in his treatment? How Britain liking school? Who is his teacher? Thanks for writing
