July 17th

Today was a good day because no fever has started. My levels are dropping and I currently have close to no white blood cells. Sister Bush came and sat with my for a few hours. It was her first time playing Mario Kart. We had fun. The cytogenetics test have come back. They tested to see what chromosomes(of the cancer cell) are messed up. Dr. Barnette told us there are three options, good, okay, or not so good. It came back as the "okay." That means that if Brad or Nate are bone marrow matches then I will have a bone marrow transplant. If they are not we will continue with the full five rounds of chemo. The "good" would have meant five rounds of chemo and "not so good" would mean a bone marrow transplant no matter what even if it was from outside the family. We should know if Brad or Nate is a bone marrow match by the end of the week. If I do have a bone marrow transplant it will take place after the third round of chemo. Thanks for all the prayers. Love Trent.

WOW! Trent!!! You are amazing!! But what should we expect - with amazing parents - you can't help but be, right? Hey, I told your mom that Sharrisa and I were going to be at the hospital on Wednesday, (we were there Sunday afternoon too) but because we aren't sure what is going on with her - we are not going to be by to visit you - even with a mask on ...I just don't want to be the one to blame for your getting sick - even though it is more than likely not contagious - it's not worth the risk. So, you let us know when you are up to visitors again, and we will catch you then...providing we are all well here too! Now, how is the basket holding up? Are you needing any refills yet? And you didn't say if your mom & dad were eating - I've heard your mom is not - so tell me what she likes and we'll get something sent up to her! K? Our secret! Let me know what you need too~paper, books, playdough, you name it! Well, keep up the great work! We are praying for you daily - many times a day actually - Let us know what else we can do for you (or your family) K?!?! Oh - tell your mom to call me when she gets a minute...or two - you know we love to talk! :O) Love ya TUFF GUY!!

Hello Trent,

We made it back from the family reunion, tired, sore and bruised. Neverthless, we always have a fun time being around family that you love and know love you. I have a print for you Trent and now we just need to figure out a time to come and bring it to you. I could send it up with your mom or Grandma but if you are feeling okay, I would like to come and visit you. Nate will probably come for sure too. We are all thinking about you and a day doesn't go by that someone doesn't ask, "How's Trent doing today? Have you talked to Aunt Paulette?" I hope you already know Nate thinks about you a lot!!! We are getting ready for the Cazier family reunion this weekend in Wyoming. Hopefully, I won't come home too sore from this one. Have a good weekend everyone. And Tiffany....(I'm so glad you are coming down to "Girl's Night Out", it wouldn't be the same without you here!! I LOVE YOU!!) Syd

Shontell,

How is Sharrisa? Did they find out what is wrong with her on Sunday? Thank you for understanding about sick kids. I just want to go home soon and stay healthy. The basket is still good we really don't eat to much right now, but mom says it will come. How is your job going is it busy or slow. Thanks for everything I will tell mom to call you!!

Love Trent
