After 5 1/2 weeks I'm finally home!!!!! I was so excited I kept jumping up & down on my bed yelling "thank you thank you". I was released about 1:30 p.m. and got home about 3:00. I told Mom on the way home "It's good to be back in the good life"! I was getting very tired of the hospital but not the nurses they are the coolest!! I will be home for about 7-10 days or until my levels go up to over 1000. Then back to the hospital for the 2nd round of chemo. I will have a home health care nurse come on Monday & Thursday to take blood. Mom will change my dressing and Dad & Mom will watch for anything not normal. My levels are still very very low so right now I can't have any kid visitors. Hopefully soon I can! Basically I will be confined to my house instead of my hospital room. I am so excited to be home to play with brothers and be some what normal. My brothers are very excited also we will play & have so much fun!!! Thank you all for your prayers and support.

I'm so happy to hear you are home, it must feel really good. I was surprised because it didn't seem like your levels were going up very fast but it's amazing what can happen when your body figures out what it needs to do. we have something special for you from the Rodriguez family and Foothills. It's so good to hear from you! How are the boys heads are they hairy again? Dad & Brad have had to shave a few times. It feels great to be home!! Chris can come over any time as long as he is not sick!! Mom has your cleaning stuff so she will give it to Chris when he come! If that is ok. How are you guys? The summer is just flying by! Are your kids excited to start school? How is the baby I bet she is growing up to fast! Talk to you soon!

I know that you'll probably want to just spend time with your family for the next few days. IT'll be nice to be home for sure. So maybe i should save a visit for when you're back up in the hospital? You let me know... i just think you might want some quality family time.

WE ARE SO HAPPY for you!!! That is the best feeling ever TO BE HOME!! You are such an amazing young man! We love to log on every day and see how things are going for you and you keep your spunk up - that is awesome! You are an inspiration to all of us! YIPEE!! I am happy for you that you are home for a while. Our computer room in the basement flooded last Friday and I haven't been able to read your blog. My parents finally got the room put back together and I am so glad I finally got to check your blog and see how you are doing. Sounds like you are doing pretty good since you are already home!! I know I can't come see you yet, but I really want to show you one of my puppies before we have to get rid of them. Maybe after you have been home for a while I could just stand outside your window and show you one! (My mom is laughing at my idea) Anyway I hope you have fun hanging out with your brothers!

How have you guys been? I really missed seeing you at church today but Mom would not let me come. It is so fun being home and playing with Brad & Nate. I really really missed them in the hospital!! Thanks for talking to my Mom today after church you helped her a lot!!

Hey buddy how are you doing? Did your basement flood when it rained really hard out here? It sounds like I missed a fun rain storm. My cousins went out & played in the big puddles the rain left they had so much fun!!! Was it only your computer room that flooded? I'm glad they were able to clean it up. I would love to see your dogs, I will get my blood drawn on Monday & Thursday and if it is safe maybe I can come and see them myself. I will let you know my Mom will call you when my levels are safe!
