August 5th
Well tomorrow is five weeks that we've been in the hospital. My levels are not sure what they are doing, one day I'm at 100 and the next day I'm at zero. I cannot leave my room until I get to at least 500. I've been having fun with Grandpa and Grandpm DuVal. Aunt Michelle stayed with me last night, we had fun. Thanks for everything, Love Trent.

I hope you get better so you can go home soon. Everyone at church is praying for you. I like school this year and I'm glad I get to go to the whole day of school instead of just 20 minutes.

I'm sorry your levels haven't gone up enough for you to go home. Be patient. They will sometime and then you can get some fresh air. Study hard for your Mom. She doesn't want you to get behind your class in school. On Wednesday we get to bring your brothers to your Grandma's house after school is over. We are looking forward to it. Hang in there!

When you feel better we will have a party with you, but we won't hurt you or wrestle you. How are you feeling today? I'm sorry that your levels are having a hard time raising. I'm sure the chemo has just really confused your body. How do you like your school work? Do you have a class and a teacher that you will start in the spring? My girls like school so far. Aspen says her teacher is nice, Kylee likes recess best :-) That's fun that other grandparents are here to visit. Have fun with them. WEll Trent, we love you so much!!! We pray for you several times a day. Know that my girls think the world of you and your brothers and they can't wait to be able to visit you again. Hang in there Trent and keep scaring the Nurses, it keeps them on there toes!!!

I'm having a lot of fun in Kindergarten. I'm making a lot of books and I have a shoebox library for them. Well, I'm having really, really fun. I like your bald head. I like my baldy head too. On Friday when my mom was visiting you, it rained really hard. Haley's handles of her scooter were soaked. There was a lake behind the school at the park and the kids were playing in it. I didn't want to play in the water because it would go up to my tummy. And dad said the kids would get in trouble. We couldn't have recess. I like your hat with flames.

Thanks for letting me play Mario Kart with you even though I'm not very good. I'll have to practice more. Maybe I could come up and play your mom. We could have a tournament which I'm sure you'd win. I hope you have fun with your family from Oregon.

What grade are you in? 20 min is short I like it but I also miss seeing my friends and being in a normal class room!! Tell everyone thank you for praying for me it helps a lot!!

Just remember Trent I still hold the special cup in Mario Cart still. One of these days maybe you'll be able to beat it from me. Tell the family hi from me & Mom! I have volunteers coming into teach me and give me school work. They have taught at one point or another in their lives and now just volunteer to teach kids at the hospital. They are all very nice and patient with me. I'm glad that Aspen & Kylee are having fun in school. Recess was my favorite thing to do in school also! Hope you guys don't have to much homework & hope you are liking your teachers!! Nate I'm glad you like school who is your teacher? Do you get to walk home everyday or does your Mom pick you up? That is crazy about the rain & the scooter I hate when thinks get wet like that!! Yes, you hold the cup but I will get it back!! The flames are doing their job I love it by the way thanks again for it!!! Family is gone and home safe we had a lot of fun. We stuffed 11 people in this small hospital room it was crazy! Talk to you soon.
