December 2nd: Day +15

Mom made up some gingerbread men for my tree and we went to paint them but the smell made me sick. So mom finished the ornaments and I had to wait until I was feeling good to stand next to it and take the smell. The other day I played a practical joke on mom. Mom was taking a nap so I took a "soaked" washcloth and put it gently on her neck. Mom "FREAKED" out and threw it across the room. She then fell back asleep while I laughed. We are trying to have fun. Love, Trent.

Trent,

I am glad to see that you have a tree up in your room. I have been trying to get Payton to call you, but whenever I remember to call you he is in a bad mood so we don't call, but I will get him one of these days! We love you very much and we hope you are getting better.
I know that this time of year is hard to be away from your family, but we all love you. When I was on my mission Grandma sent me a letter and she told me that even if I was having a hard time that we are all under the same big sky and we see the same stars.
Trent, even though Mike and I are far away from you, please know that we love you so much and pray for you all the time. We hope you have a Merry Christmas.

Love,
Biscuit, Amber, Payton, & Xoie

Aunt Amber,

Thanks for getting Payton to call me. I get in bad moods and do not want to talk to anyone so I understand what he is going through. When he is happy I would love to talk to him! How are you guys doing? Thanksgiving was fun here. Me, Mom & Dad hung out at the hospital. Was your Thanksgiving fun? How was Payton's birthday. I hope he had fun. Did he enjoy his presents? Xoie is growing up fast huh! Well how is Mike doing in school. Mom said he was elected vice pres. what does he have to do? Is he busy? I am glad you wrote I love & miss you.

Trent,
I have another joke you can play on your mom. She will love it! I have witnessed this at the place I work, with a lot a guys that joke around a lot. Take a wet sponge and place it carefully in the lap of someone who is napping. Usually by the time they wake up, it looks like they had a potty accident. It's best if you can remove the sponge before they wake up. Ask your Dad what kind of jokes he does a work, I bet he has some funny ones.

Get better,

Bro. Burningham
