December 29th: day +42
Well I'm still in the hospital and it looks like it will be at least another day before I can go home. The good news is that nothing has grown in my blood cultures but the bad news is that my fever has not gone away. They will not let me go home until the fever comes down and we find out why it went up. I wish I was home but things are not that bad here right now. At least I was home for Christmas. Thank you. Stick an ice pack on your head before they come in to check your temperature....just kidding! Glad to hear nothing grew out, now just work on getting rid of that fever. I'm glad you were able to be home for Christmas.
