August 10th day +96

Today I've been sleeping a lot. My stomach is hurting very bad, I am constantly pushing my morphine button. The doctor came in and said the CD3 (mom put C23 but it's really CD3) antibody is not avaliable. It is a study drug and can not be used. That just stinks but my body will be ok with the 2nd drug, still do not know what it is called but it will work. Hope everyone has a great week.

love Trent

I'll cross my fingers and pray extra hard that the second drug works. I was just pondering about your potty issues and wondering why they haven't tried a rectal tube for you. We use them on patients that have constant liquid diarrhea to spare them the million trips to the bathroom and to keep their bums from getting so sore. It's worth asking about.

A rectal tube would be great but it is not an option for us because of the high chance of infection and the fact that I'm losing large pieces of intestinal lining that would block the tube. We wish that it was an option. Thanks for the idea though.

I don't know you, but am praying for you. I was reading your older posts and amazed at what an incredible young man you are. My name is Dan and am using my wife's log in. You are a super trooper and inspiration. I pray that a miracle would take place. You would be a testimony for years to come. You have already inspired me. Take care...

Trent, I check your blog almost every day, as do my children. We pray for you and your extended family. Glad your friends brought you the movie you had wanted to see. Here's hoping that more nice things happen to you and that the second meds work their wonders on you.
Love,

Jeff & Tiffany,
I was just able to get on the blog
set up for Trent. We want you to know our family is thinking and praying for you constantly! I have thought alot about what you have been experiencing in addition to what others have experienced that closely relates to your situation. I read in the D&C "many are called and few are chosen." There are many who are called upon to have heart renching trials that strengthen, test, sanctify and finally through the "refiners fire"
make of us who we are to be. Those of us who don't have these same experiences endure other things that build them too. However
there are those who are called, chosen and endure. To you who have that calling may I lend my prayer that you will inherit all you could possibly ever dream or imagine for this life as well as through all eternity! For your valiant courage, strength, attitude, example and faith yours is a testimony to others of the love of the Savior as well as our Heavenly Father who stands by you through all of this. Trent is a wise and aged spirit who's enduring with insure him great blessings. Miracles have not ceased!! The Savior is real and living to bear you up. The body,as you well know, can endure much with a strong will and great faith anything can be accomplished! Our prayers and love are with you always.
