June 8th 2008

1st picture- my eye is swollen shut, they think it has an infection.
2nd picture- many of my friends, they are awesome!
3rd picture- "hey birds watch out for those flying things" ha ha I am still funny when I am out of it.
Thank you so much for the fun fun birthday! It was so awesome to see so many who love and support me. I am truly one lucky kid!!! It was so cool I want to thank Melissa and her girls for the great idea, and Jen and Jen for helping her. It truly made my day. I was so excited to see so many people. The nurses and other patients can't stop talking about it. Thank you so much again it was a bright spot in my day!!!
Love Trent
We want to thank everyone for tonight!! It has been a long 6wks and getting harder with Trent not feeling well. You gave us hope and love to continue the fight! Trent is very brave and fighting hard. He has been in a lot of pain and just plain wants to go home and not be in the hospital. Again we cannot thank everyone enough for the love and support we have felt tonight and throughout the last year. Thank you Melissa and girls for the wonderful idea and Jen and Jen for helping, it was the best present!!! We truly have the best family and friends!
Love Jeff & Tiff

Hey Trent!

We had such a great time coming to celebrate your birthday. It was so fun to see all the signs and all the balloons. We're glad you could make it to the window to see it all. It was a highlight for us to be able to see you wave to us! Keep on fighting...you're in our prayers.

Love,
Catie Grant & her mommy (Stephanie)

Hey Trent!

We had a great time coming to your birthday celebration last night. It was so fun to see all the signs and all of the balloons. The highlight for us though was seeing you wave at us from your window. That was the best!!! Keep on fighting...you're in our prayers.

Love,

Hey Trent, it looks like your birthday was fun! Harrison and I will be up at the hospital today. We will call and say hi since you can't have visitors. Harrison lost his hair again and looks like his bald dad. I'm excited that you are 8 now. When you are better you can go to scouts and get baptized! Also, on Saturday we volunteered for the make-a-wish golf tornament and saw the guy who is doing you wish. I forgot his name but he said for you to "hang in there", and that he would be sending more stuff for you soon. We are praying for you and your family,

Trent, You do not know us, but I have heard about you often. We are Jim Goodrich's mom & dad. So sorry that you have to go through so much. Our Heavenly Father is always with us and he makes us strong enough to do what we have to do! Know that He loves you. Many things in life I have thought I could not do, but I have had to & I did them. These challenges make us stronger people. We work in the Salt Lake temple on Thursday & Friday mornings. I know that other people put your name on the prayer roll, but I do each time that I am there. Our love, thoughts & prayers are with you & your family. You are such an amazing young man & an example to all who know you or learn of you. Jay & Carolyn Goodrich
