Trent, I'm glad that the forth picture shows your true colors. Go UTES! I knew you would see the light and switch over some day.

The Horseback riding looks fun, my daughter Kaisa loves horses and she thinks you are so lucky to be able to ride a horse. She said you look good riding a horse, like you know what you are doing!

Trent,

I came by the 4th floor last night with my family to bring some books and blankets. It was 1 year ago that I had my last chemo treatment for brain cancer. I remember one year ago bringing fleece blankets to the ICU and how I insisted to my Mom that we had to make a pirate blanket with the skull and crossbones material. I told her that there was a boy there that needed it...she didn't believe me but after much insisting she allowed me to bring that blanket. It was meant for you even though we had never met. We came to my second to last hospital visit with those books-n-blankets and the nurses said they knew who the pirate blanket was for. They said Trent loved pirates and had his whole room decorated with pirate things.

We saw you again last December to bring some craft kits and other items for my friends on the floor. We were visiting in your room and then my Dad said there was something in the car that was meant for you. So he went down and brought it back up for you.

We have thought and prayed for you and your family so many times this past year but we never saw you again. My sister brought some pillow cases up to the hospital last month that were made by her and some friends. I hope you got one of those.

May God bless you and your family.
