November 25th: day +8

Well things have been the same. Each day is filled with lots of meds, bloody nose, throwing up, mouth and throat sores, and just sitting around. Here are a few pictures, the first is of my new bone marrow before they gave it to me. Then there is how I currently spend my day, and that it playing with Legos. Last is a picture of my eye. The other day I was throwing up while my platelets were low and I burst a blood vessel in my eye. It does not hurt but it does not look very good. Thank you for everything. Love, Trent.

Hey Trent,

I'm sorry you keep throwing up, I did that at the first 1/2 of my pregnancy and it stinks! I hate throwing up, so I feel for you. You eye looks awesomly gross! What a great thing to freak out the girls huh? Well hang in there, you are such a trooper. We pray for you daily and are grateful you have had your transplant. Give your mom and dad a hug for me ok?

Love, Melissa Fackrell

Trent,
If I didn't know better it looks as if you are changing your loyalties from BYU to Utah? I have heard of the crazy things people do to show their support for their team but never heard of bursting blood vessels to show support...just kidding...Mr. True Blue. Go BYU!!! I am a fence sitter (I cheer for both teams) but when BYU and Utah play each other I am a BYU fan!
Our service project for the children in Iraq turned out awesome! We were able to sew 168 bags that we filled with crayons, coloring books, dolls, cars, soccer balls, candy, stuffed animals etc. It was so awesome to see so many people help out. The children in Iraq are children of our Heavenly Father too and we have so much to give them and what a blessing it is to give to others in need!
Sunday for Sharing Time Sister Moser along with her CTR 7 class taught us about blessings and all the things we can be thankful for. We are all thankful that you are in remission and that you were able to find a bone marrow donor that matched you so well. Like I told you in the hospital you really are the M&M Man...The Miracle Man. Keep fighting and we will keep praying!
Love, Shelli

Dear Trent-
Sleep is goood. We are glad that you are getting some and hope that your mom and dad are too. How long do you think you will have to be in the hospital? We are sure glad that you have not had any infection. What are you asking Santa for for Christmas? We sure love you and can't wait to see you up and about. Sorry about your eye- That looks pretty bad, but Jerel says boys think war wounds are cool so the picture is just so you can prove to all your friends the real war you are fighting :) We sure love you and miss you. You will have to come and see our little Emmi- She is sure cute! Her ears stick out a little bit and Jerel says she looks like a Smurf (Little blue people way before your time he/he) I think she is a special Christmas Elf sent to grant wishes for Christmas. Gordon's going to need an extra special Christmas Elf, because he wants a WII and they cost a lot of money- Kayla needs one too because she wants a horse. A real one! I guess if Santa brings her a horse we may have to move to a new house with a humungous yard because here that horse would just jump our fence and run over to the Wal-Mart.
But if she gets one we could use moving for a bigger yard as an excuse to move back and see you more. Sounds good huh- Maybe a horse wouldn't be so bad. Well we love you and hope that you are hanging in there. We send hugs and hope to see you soon. Have a super week.

Sorry it has been so long. I check on you all the time. Yes we are still teaching primary and we love it. We miss having you in our class though. No one gives Bro. Dotson a hard time like you can, it was way fun for me to watch you go at him. We are quite busy, we are going to have a baby. We have to finish the basement so there will be enough room in our house for HIM. Yep we are having a boy. Kind of exciting huh. I just have to say you just keep on amazing us. You are a very special kid, we just love you. Thanks so much for keeping us all updated on your progress. We are praying for you
