September 21st

Well sorry that I've not written for awhile. Mom and dad have been at the house every night working late trying to get it ready for when I get to go home. Nothing much new this week. I was not eating for the first few weeks so they gave me an appetite stimulant and it worked really well. I have gained nine pounds. It is a lot since I had not gained anything in the past year. Three more days and it has been a month for this stay. We should be going home within a week hopefully. They tell us that we should only be home for about seven days this time before we come back. Thanks to everyone that has helped with the house. It is amazing that almost everything was done within a three week period. Thank you. Love, Trent.

Hi Guys,
I can't believe you have been in the hospital for almost a month again! I am sure it hasn't gone by fast enough for you though. I am also glad that you have lots of good Family & Friends near by to take such good care of you and your family so that your home can be ready for you when this stay is done. If there is anything that we can do for you guys let us know ok. keep up the good work!

Hey there Trent,

We are your new primary teachers. Our names are brother and sister Rindlisbacher. We are excited to get to know you. We wanted to let you know what we learned about in church today. Here's what we learned:

We learned that Jesus loves us very much and that there are ways that we can show him that we love him.

Some of those ways are to keep his commandments, to take care of his building and show respect for his property, and to show love to others. When we do these things, we show him that we love him and that we want to follow him.

We hope you get better soon and please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. We would love to help out where we can.

Trent, Today in sharing time I took some pictures of everyone for you to see...will you let me know if your mom has an e-mail address and I will forward the pictures for you to look at. If not, I will print them off and drop them by your house.

We had a fun day in primary as the Primary Presidency introduced ourselves. Each of us brought three objects that describe us that were on a table under a tablecloth until everyone was finished describing themselves. The children had to guess which item belonged to which presidency member. I brought a life jacket and sun glasses because I love to be outdoors, camp, waterski, swim, 4-wheel, I also brought a camera because I love to take pictures, I brought a book because I love to read and I also showed everyone a picture of my family. Sister Celest Hatch brought some shoes because she loves to walk, she brought menu's of restaurants because she loves to eat and she brought a cook book because she loves to cook. Sister Amy Fugal brought some chocolate because she loves chocolate, some shoes because she loves to run - she ran in a 5K race this weekend and she brought a book because she loves to read. Sister Nicole Naylor brought a sea shell because she loves the ocean and the beach -she used to live in California, she brought a book because she loves to read and she brought a picture of her family because she loves her family.

Sister Kristie Hill and Sister Kathleen LeBeau are working hard at teaching everyone the songs for our primary program.

We hope you are having a good day today. You have many people praying for you!!!

Love, Shelli Simmons

Sister Simmons,

Thanks you for writing. I am excited to get to know my new ward and primary it will be fun. Three items that would describe me are a toy four wheeler, football or soccer balls, and star wars toys. I love to four wheel, play sport and play with my toys!!! That was a fun thing to hear about the primary presidency. I always like to learn about people. Well thanks for writing.
