September 1st
Sorry it's been a few days since we have written. We have been trying to take in all the new information. Mom and dad say I'm a totally different kid since they took me off of the anti-nausea drugs. I'm now on only one medication for nausea instead of four. I'm happy, hyper, and do not throw a fit when I have to get up every two hours. The best part is that I have not been sick and am handling the chemo for now. The paperwork for the bone marrow transpant has been started and should take about eight weeks. We will complete this round of chemo and then move to the transplant. Please remember me in your fast tomorrow. Go Cougars. Love, Trent.

Trent,
I had fun looking at your pokemon cards when I got to see you. Nobody will laugh at your mask. It's just fun to see you after so long. Is your head okay after you nailed the bed? My mom asked me the favorite part about seeing you was. I said, "Everything." I couldn't pick one.
I went to the Bees game. Guess who won? Tell me in your next letter who you think. They played the Las Vegas 51's.
We had soccer practice last week. We need you!! Nah, don't feel bad we'll be okay, but we both still wish you were there, huh? I'll tell you how the first game goes. It's this Saturday.
My mom asked the Jazz to get a ball for your motorcycle ride. It has all the Jazz teams autographs on it.

I hope you feel better soon. I just barely found out you are sick. I got tears in my eyes. I wish you didn't have to get so sick. You are a good friend. This is the first year that you're not in my school class. I got Mrs. Adams this year. It was fun having you in my classes. My brother got Mrs. Tipton this year...just like we had Mrs. Tipton. I saw the picture of you with your Foothills Fun Run shirt on. I did the fun run too!

I am doing fine. I found out they can bring a X box or a playstation unit into my room so I am having fun playing with either one of those! How is football going have you started yet. Brad misses you on his soccer team. Hope all is going well.

Hey buddy. I had a huge headache the rest of that night. The next morning I had a bruise there!! I hate when I do that!!! Thanks for stopping by it was fun. Is your mom's mouth better? Thanks for writing. How is school? Mrs. Adams is very nice. Are you playing soccer this year? I signed up but I can't play now so hopefully in Spring! The soccer people messed up and put my team in the 3rd grade level so this fall they will be playing 3rd graders yikes. Well it was so good to hear from you hope to see you soon!!
