November 4th

Trent peacefully passed away today. He will forever be a part of our family. We will miss him terribly but know we will see him again. We are thankful to a loving Heavenly Father for welcoming him home and letting his spirit stay with us. Trent loved life and never took it for granted he truly is and was a wonderful spirit. Please know how thankful we are to all for the support and love we have felt, it has been amazing. Trent is finally out of pain and very at peace. Thanks again.

Love Jeff and Tiff

Dear Tiffany & Jeff: Please do not feel obligated to print this comment. This was the one sure way I new how to reach you. I just wanted to share a thought or two that might be too personal for this forum.
As I have watched the story of Trent's life played out on this blog, I've been reminded of a song that always touches me deeply. I think it applies here. Hymns 293:

Each life that touches ours for good, Reflects thine own great mercy Lord; Thou sendest blessings from above, thru words and deeds of those who love.

What greater gift dost thou bestow, What greater goodness can we know, Than Christ-like friends, whose gentle ways, Strengthen our faith, enrich our days.

When such a friend from us departs, we hold forever in our hearts, A sweet and hallowed memory, Bringing us nearer Lord, to thee.

For worthy friends whose lives proclaim, Devotion to the Savior's name, Who bless our days with peace and love, We praise thy goodness, Lord a bove.

May your family be blessed with peace and comfort as you make your way through these next few difficult and trying days. Remember, there is a specific reason the Holy Ghost is called "The Comforter."

Dear Duvals,
I've started messages, then deleted them so many times - I'm hoping this one makes it.

I just wish I knew what to do or say - but I'm at a loss.

We will always remember Trent's stinkin cute smile,(always looked like mischief-soooo cute!), those cute little legs in cowboy boots with his shorts on and the "wrestling" matches he and his brothers had quite frequently - as well as the "Trent Daniel!" followed by his mischievous smile… How cute is that!

We love you all – and will continue to pray for peace and comfort for all of you. You have all been such an amazing example to us! (and many others as you can tell)

Remember, we are here for you…Thank you for sharing your family with us!

Thank you for blessing so many lives! Trent is such an amazing young man…but then again he has an amazing family!
